About the Role

As a working student (f/m/d), you support our team in applied market research and in the production of scientific outputs for consulting and research projects. You translate complex research questions into testable hypotheses, select appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods, and develop evidence-based findings on economic topics, consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the use of artificial intelligence. In addition, you contribute to data collection and analysis, conduct literature reviews and interviews in German and English, and prepare publications, reports, short analyses, and presentations in accordance with high scientific standards.

What You Will Do

  • Support quantitative and qualitative research across the entire process, from data preparation and analysis to the synthesis of results.

  • Conduct scientific literature reviews and translate research questions and findings into hypotheses, metrics, and decision-relevant insights in German and English.

  • Draft and revise scientific texts and collaborate closely with subject-matter experts on projects and publications.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Current enrollment at a state-recognized university for the full duration of the working student employment in economics, market research, business administration, data science, or a closely related field.

  • Outstanding academic performance, evidenced by excellent grades or comparable academic distinctions.

  • Native or excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred:

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, incl. interviews, focus groups, coding, regression analysis, time series, survey analysis, and related empirical approaches.

  • Practical knowledge of Python or R and familiar with data processing and data visualization.

  • Experience with modern research workflows, incl. the use of AI-supported tools, citation standards, reference management, and the efficient use of scientific databases and academic literature sources.
